Mary Marg Helgenberger was born in 1958. The 1980s saw her begin her acting career and gained notoriety as Siobhan Ryan's character on the soap opera daytime Ryan's Hope between 1982 and 1986. Her best-known role is Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural police drama. Crime Scene Investigation (2000-13) as well as the TV film Immortality (2015). She reprised the role in the follow-up film Vegas (2022-present). Helgenberger is also well-known for playing the role of K.C. She is the youngest of the four siblings. McCain has received her formal education from Phoenix Country Day School followed by Xavier College Preparatory a Catholic school for girls that is an all-girls private school. In 2007, McCain graduated with the Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Columbia University. In 2017, she joined The View's daily talk-show The View where she co-hosted until 2021. She was awarded the show's four Daytime Emmy award nominations for her efforts. McCain's other projects include being a Daily Mail columnist after her period of three years on The View. McCain has also written four books including America You Sexy Bitch, A Love Letter To Freedom, and Bad Republican.
