Anna Kendrick, an American actress nominated to win the Academy Award, is best well-known for her leading part in Twilight. The actress was born in Portland, Maine she started her career in High Society a Broadway show as a kid. A Little Night Music was a Stephen Sondheim's musical. Then, she branched out into the world of film, and was recognized as a film actress after her performance in the romantic fantasy movie Twilight, where she played the most trusted friend of the main character. She reprised her role on The Twilight Saga: New Moon. In episodes of Fear Itself, Comedy Bang! and various other series she's been on TV. Bang! Anna Kendrick was also a singer. She performed Cups in a cover version for the soundtrack and music video from Pitch Perfect. The song reached the top spot at No. 6 in US Billboard 100. It also ranked No. 2 on the US Adult Top 40.
